To the heart of a Port-au-Prince neighborhood in Haiti, in the Jean-Max voodoo house, those whom he calls his “children” operate the singular metamorphosis of the place. Through daily life and the religious journey, we follow the thread of a memory that reflects both an extraordinary cultural strength and beauty, religious conflicts and the wounded face of Haitian society. Voices from the past and present resound and question a certain chaotic off-screen reality in the country…
